Job Description:
Gather analyze and document business technical functional and data requirements for reconciliation and middle office initiatives.
Support cash position transaction reconciliation across internal systems, custodians, accounting platforms and data providers.
Translate needs into user stories process maps data mappings specifications test scenarios and procedures.
Partner with engineering QA data architecture and vendor teams on integrations reporting test implementation and support.
Business Systems Analyst experience in financial services investment operations or fintech.
Firsthand asset management middle office reconciliation and exception management experience.
Strong understanding of matching break investigation root cause analysis tolerances aging escalation and controls.
Experience with investment data including trades positions cash transactions securities pricing corporate actions and reference data.
Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
Ability to interpret technical designs, mappings, logs interface files and application workflows.
Experience with reporting or analytics tools such as Power BI Tableau Excel or similar platforms.
Practical understanding of AI machine learning or analytics for exception classification anomaly detection break prioritization document analysis and knowledge search.
Ability to define AI use cases data needs success criteria testing approaches and human review controls.
Familiarity with responsible AI includes privacy explain ability, oversight and operational risk controls.
Bachelor's degree in information systems computer science finance business accounting engineering or equivalent experience.
Several years of business analysis systems analysis investment operations or fintech delivery experience.
Strong analytical documentation facilitation stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience with reconciliation or investment operations platforms such as VestmarkONE Smart Stream Aladdin Advent Portfolio Exchange or similar tools.
Knowledge of major asset classes and experience with cloud data platforms APIs Python data quality tooling or workflow automation.
