About Rebuilding Together Greater Florida

Rebuilding Together Greater Florida, formerly Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to repairing homes, revitalizing communities, and rebuilding lives. Serving 29 counties across Florida, RTGFL provides critical home repairs and rehabilitation services for income-qualified homeowners, including seniors, veterans, persons with disabilities, and families in need. Through home rehabilitation, disaster recovery, workforce development, and community revitalization initiatives, we help homeowners remain safely in their homes and communities.

Position Overview

The Construction Coordinator helps coordinate residential repair and rehabilitation projects from the initial home assessment through final inspection and project completion. The position combines field oversight with project coordination. Responsibilities include evaluating repair needs, helping develop and verify scopes of work, monitoring construction progress, coordinating contractors, supporting permitting and inspections, and maintaining complete project documentation.

The Construction Coordinator works closely with the Regional Construction Manager, District Program team, contractors, inspectors, homeowners, and community partners to keep projects safe, organized, compliant, and on schedule.

Coordinating permits and inspections with local jurisdictions

Documenting site conditions and uploading photographs, inspection notes, and progress updates

Communicating project schedules and updates to homeowners and internal teams

Reviewing invoices and helping track project costs

Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and project tracking systems

Experience with Salesforce, SharePoint, or similar platforms is preferred
