Job description

Salary: $60,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

  • We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in IT helpdesk, IT support, desktop support, or a comparable role.
  • We need strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365 Business and Microsoft 365 administration/troubleshooting.
  • We require strong working knowledge of Google Workspace.
  • Experience resolving issues on Windows computers and with common business software is required.
  • We are looking for experience troubleshooting network connectivity and basic networking equipment.
  • Strong hardware troubleshooting and computer setup skills are needed.
  • The ability to manage and maintain IT equipment inventory is required.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are essential.
  • We need someone who can work independently and balance multiple support requests.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
  • A professional, patient, and customer-service-oriented approach is important.
  • Preferred experience includes Zoho, Convoso, and Nextiva or other VoIP systems.
  • Experience administering user accounts and permissions is preferred.
  • Familiarity with network switches, structured cabling, printers, and office AV equipment is preferred.
  • Experience supporting a fast-paced office or call-center environment is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • We provide first-line and ongoing technical support to employees.
  • We troubleshoot hardware, software, network, email, account, and connectivity issues.
  • We respond to helpdesk requests and prioritize them by urgency and business impact.
  • We set up, configure, and support employee computers, peripherals, and other technology.
  • We help employees with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and other business applications.
  • We give clear, professional guidance to employees with different levels of technical knowledge.
  • We document recurring issues, resolutions, equipment assignments, and IT procedures.
  • We manage and support our technology stack, including Zoho, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Convoso, and Nextiva.
  • We handle user accounts, permissions, configurations, access, software setup, troubleshooting, and basic administration.
  • We maintain an accurate inventory of desktops, laptops, monitors, headsets, keyboards, mice, printers, network cables, switches, power cables, adapters, TVs, displays, and other IT equipment.
  • We track equipment, prepare devices for new employees, replace or repair hardware when needed, and keep IT storage organized.
  • We monitor and troubleshoot employee network connections.
  • We resolve wired and wireless connectivity issues.
  • We assist with network switches, cabling, and related equipment.
  • We diagnose connectivity problems and escalate more complex network issues when needed.
  • We keep network and equipment configurations organized.
  • We help ensure employees have reliable access to company systems and internet resources.

We are hiring an on-site IT Helpdesk Specialist in Scottsdale, AZ. This full-time, permanent role is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:45 AM to 4:45 PM, with a salary range of $60,000 to $70,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications. In this hands-on position, we are looking for someone who takes ownership, works directly with employees, and is comfortable managing and maintaining technology equipment in a professional office environment.
