Directs, performs and coordinates the following program activities: manages building operations, maintenance, repair, alteration, historic preservation, safety, environmental and security in owned and leased buildings assigned.
Promotes and monitors efficient occupant space utilization, energy and water conservation, sustainability and environmental hazards programs, and fire and security protection.
Develops and promotes positive working relationships with customer agencies and client personnel and maintains continuous liaison with building tenants and top management officials of customer agencies and tenants at facilities managed.
Participates and engages in planning and developing operating budgets and all related procedures and activities for assigned facilities.
Manages the contracting and leasing administration process as needed on behalf of tenant agencies. May administer various types of contracts and leases. Serves as the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR).
