# Job Opportunity – Case Management Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** August 31, 2026 **Location:** Pasadena, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Day shift, Monday through Friday. No weekend or night shift requirements.**Highlights:**- Manage discharge planning for 20-25 patients per RN in a collaborative Case Management and Social Work Department- Work across the entire hospital supporting various units including med-surge and ICU- Utilize EMR systems (Meditech/Meditech Expanse) for documentation and care coordination- Apply Interqual criteria to confirm patient status and facilitate appropriate level of care decisions- Business casual dress code with no scrubs required- Supportive team environment with experienced Case Managers and Social Workers**Requirements:**- Active RN license required- Minimum 2 years of hospital-based Case Management experience (required)- Strong discharge planning skills and knowledge of utilization review processes- Excellent communication skills and comfortable collaborating with interdisciplinary teams- Flexibility and willingness to ask questions in a dynamic healthcare environment**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This position offers a Monday-through-Friday schedule without weekend or on-call requirements, making it ideal for work-life balance.
