The Quality Control Supervisor ensures product quality and inventory integrity across the distribution center. This role drives process improvements, reduces errors, and supports operational efficiency while providing leadership to the quality control team. You'll collaborate with corporate quality assurance and warehouse teams to maintain the highest standards of quality for our products.What you'll doServe as the primary distribution center representative for communicating product quality concerns to corporate QACollaborate with QA on corrective actions based on inspection results, quality trends, and data analysisOversee quality control operations, including scheduling, prioritization, and delegation of daily tasksMonitor required materials to support warehouse activities and ensure end-of-month inventory reports are accurateEnsure all inbound materials meet quality standards, reporting discrepancies or damage as neededSupervise open circuit voltage (OCV) validation during inbound receivingManage scrap and vendor return processes, including proper organization, documentation, and trackingMaintain monthly and annual quality performance metrics and provide summary reports to leadershipDelegate tasks while ensuring compliance with quality and safety policiesProvide coaching, feedback, and recognition to quality control team membersSupport change initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvementAssist in the performance evaluation process, including feedback, managing performance issues, and disciplinary participationWhat powers youBachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Quality Management, or related field preferred; minimum 6 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degreeMinimum 2 years of experience with battery products and/or quality controlWorking knowledge of OSHA and ANSI requirementsPrior supervisory experience strongly preferredStrong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to interpret and create reports, procedures, and documentation in multiple formatsFlexibility to work varied schedules to meet business needsWhy Batteries PlusJoin a company committed to quality, safety, and operational excellence.
