Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Echo Technologist to perform high-quality echocardiograms for patients, aiding in the diagnosis of heart conditions. This role requires proficiency in using echocardiography equipment, patient preparation, and collaborating with cardiologists to provide exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiograms (TTE, TEE, stress echo) on patients.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Ensure high-quality diagnostic images for physician review.
- Document results and maintain accurate patient records.
- Follow safety protocols and infection control procedures.
- Assist in equipment maintenance and quality control.
Qualifications:
- Certification in Echocardiography (RDCS, RCS, or equivalent).
- Completion of accredited ultrasound program.
- Previous experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and patient care abilities.
