Senior Specialist
The Senior Specialist will work with members of Lab Computing and be responsible for partnering with scientists to identify, implement and support appropriate solutions to improve laboratory workflows, and use of instruments and lab devices. The role will require collaboration with other IT functions required to enable consistent high-quality support and operational excellence. This position requires direct interaction with scientists and business areas lead to ensure clear understanding of lab environments and their alignment with strategic IT initiatives. The incumbent will have significant knowledge of computer hardware and software pertaining to research, with experience in managing lab technologies and infrastructure.
Education, Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 5 years work experience, with demonstrated expertise in IT solutions relevant to lab computer systems
Ability to analyze and define business problems, and to independently identify appropriate process and technology solutions.
Partner closely with business and IT stakeholders to understand, deploy and support Lab IT technology.
Understanding of IT infrastructure required to support research activities
Strong analytical problem solving and troubleshooting skills used to enable smooth laboratory computer operations.
Ability to work with service vendors and other IT groups to support business needs through existing and innovative solutions
Detail oriented, thorough, well organized and effectively
2 years' experience supporting GLP and GMP laboratory computer systems.

The salary range for this role is $117,000.00 - $184,200.00. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
