The Role
If you live in Lake Stevens, this is a job you can get to in ten minutes.
CSSOW supports children and adults living with physical, mental, emotional, medical and learning disabilities, and we're looking for Support Workers who want to do that work one-on-one — in the client's home and out in the community, helping families live the life they choose.
The people we support aren't a caseload. You'll get to know one person well, learn what matters to them, and help them get on with their week.
Where You'll Be Working
Lake Stevens and the surrounding area, including the Frontier Village side of town and out toward Snohomish. It's a smaller service area than Everett, which means less time in the car and more time with the person you're supporting.
What You'll Do
- Encourage clients to build their own skills and independence
- Support clients one-on-one with the tasks of daily living
- Follow each client's individual Care Plan
- Keep families and team members informed about anything affecting care
- Get clients out into the community — errands, appointments, activities
What We're Looking For
- Active Washington HCA, CNA, LPN or Para-Educator certification
- Caregiving and/or Support Worker experience
- Comfortable reading and following a written Care Plan
- Reliable, compassionate, and a clear communicator
- Able to pass a Washington State background check
- Nurse Delegation is a plus
