Job Summary

Supports warehouse and manufacturing operations through inventory management, purchasing coordination, SAP system administration, and material planning activities. Maintains inventory accuracy through cycle counting, Kanban management, reporting, and transaction processing while ensuring compliance with quality system requirements and minimizing inventory shortages and excess stock

Job Details/Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and inventory accuracy initiatives to maintain system integrity and support audit readiness (30%).
• Manage third party vendor. Coordinate shipments and deliveries while ensuring the correct materials and quantities are always available for Production. Approve invoices for payment. Coordinate all activities related to physical counts at vendor's location (20%).
• Maintain SAP master data, support system transactions, troubleshoot Warehouse Activity Monitor issues, and provide day-to-day SAP support. Execute daily SAP reports including deliveries, purchase orders, inventory, and cycle count activities to support operational planning and inventory control. (25%).
• Support scrap processing and disposal activities, while ensuring compliance with company procedures. (10%).
• Support warehouse operations through goods receipt processing, finished goods transactions, consumables monitoring, and NCR backup responsibilities. Serves as the designated backup for the Warehouse Supervisor, assuming assigned operational responsibilities during periods of absence. (10%).
• Participate in business process improvements, system upgrades, implementations, and other projects assigned by management. Support training as needed (5%)
• Contributes directly to inventory accuracy, manufacturing continuity, and warehouse performance by ensuring materials are available when needed while minimizing excess inventory. Supports cost control initiatives, operational efficiency, and compliance objectives through accurate SAP transactions, inventory monitoring, and purchasing coordination. Decisions and actions impact production schedules, inventory investment, and warehouse performance metrics.
• Regularly communicates with warehouse personnel, manufacturing teams, purchasing, quality, and internal requisition requestors regarding inventory status, purchase orders, deliveries, and system issues. Exchanges information to resolve operational challenges and coordinates with vendors and service providers to support material flow and waste management activities
• Works with a variety of routine and non-routine inventory, purchasing, and SAP-related issues requiring analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Identifies discrepancies, resolves inventory variances, supports process improvements, and contributes to system enhancements that improve operational effectiveness and data accuracy
• This is an individual contributor role with no direct supervisory responsibilities. Operate independently within established procedures and company policies while exercising judgment regarding inventory management, transaction processing, issue resolution, and prioritization of daily activities. Works under the general direction of the Warehouse Manager

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with SAP and related business systems.
Understanding inventory control and warehouse operations.
Knowledge of quality system requirements including FDA 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Qualifications/ Background Experiences

Associate degree or higher preferred.
Knowledge of warehouse, inventory management, supply chain, or related disciplines preferred.
1 to 3 years of experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related regulated environments preferred.
Minimum 1 year of MRP/SAP experience preferred.
Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, and purchasing processes preferred.
