Job Title: Mill Articulated Loader Operator and Light Maintenance

We are currently seeking a proficient Mill Articulated Loader Operator and Light Maintenance worker to join our esteemed team at the timber and wood product facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and effective operation of forklifts to facilitate the movement of various materials and products within the mill, while also providing support with light maintenance duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts in a safe and efficient manner to transport materials and products within the mill premises
• Assist in light maintenance activities, including cleaning machinery and equipment
• Conduct routine inspections on forklifts and other tools to ensure optimal functionality
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to uphold a secure and compliant work environment

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in forklift operation within an industrial environment
• Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks and machinery operations
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to safety practices
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
