TheTraveling Construction Superintendentprovides on‑site coordination for all phases of commercial construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in strict accordance with project specifications. This role requires daily travel to job sites for personnel management, progress review, and quality assurance.

Employment Details

Key Responsibilities

• Subcontractor Coordination— Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and vendors along the critical path.
• Quality Control— Perform daily quality control duties to ensure work meets specifications.
• Project Communication— Communicate with project teams regarding ASIs, RFIs, and material submittals.
• Scope Compliance— Ensure subcontractors fully execute and comply with contracted scopes of work.
• Inspection Coordination— Schedule and coordinate inspections with local jurisdictions.
• Safety Oversight— Identify and address subcontractor non‑compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Conflict Resolution— Identify construction conflicts and communicate them for timely resolution.
• Daily Reporting— Maintain a written daily log of jobsite activities.
• Deficiency Management— Ensure subcontractors correct deficiencies promptly.
• Site Monitoring— Walk the project daily to monitor progress and assist with planning.
• Meeting Leadership— Lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Non‑Compliance Notices— Issue notices regarding work or scheduling issues.
• Site Organization— Maintain a clean, organized jobsite at all times.
• Punch List Management— Identify and complete job progress and final punch lists.
• Permitting Support— Assist in obtaining permits or approvals for revisions.
• Scope Identification— Identify work outside subcontracted scope.
• Site Security— Open and secure the jobsite daily.
• Budget & Schedule Management— Keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3–5 yearsof verifiable experience
• Verifiable experience incommercial constructionfor projects between$250K and $5M
• 2-year college degree
• OSHA Certified
• Strong computer skills, including:
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Microsoft Project
• Sage CM
• Clock Shark
• Holobuilder

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Provide direction and resolve problems forup to 30+ subcontractors and vendors.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to liftup to 100 lbsto waist height
• Endurance to navigate job sites up to200,000 sq ft, including stairs, ladders, elevated structures, and multi‑story roofs

• Use of phone/email5–6 hours/day
• Frequent movement across job sites throughout the shift
