The Development Coordinator serves as a strategic partner between business stakeholders and software development teams, helping drive the vision, planning, and execution of Nextech's technology initiatives. This role combines the responsibilities of a Scrum Master and Product Owner, ensuring development teams are focused on delivering high-value solutions that support business objectives and enhance the user experience.
The Development Coordinator leads Agile processes, manages product roadmaps and priorities, removes obstacles to team success, and collaborates across departments to maximize the value of Nextech's software products.
- Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and product demonstrations.
- Partner with stakeholders and development teams to define and maintain product requirements.
- Create, prioritize, and manage product backlogs, stories, epics, and feature requests.
- Ensure development teams have well-defined, prioritized work aligned with business objectives.
- Help define product vision, roadmaps, and future growth opportunities.
- Evaluate business value and ROI to prioritize initiatives and maximize impact.
- Collaborate with leaders across operations, customer service, finance, and other departments.
- Identify and remove impediments that may impact team productivity and delivery goals.
- Develop wireframes, workflows, and user-focused product designs.
- Test product releases, document issues, and support quality improvement efforts.
- Monitor team progress and performance to help ensure successful project delivery.
- Create and maintain clear documentation for product features and workflows.

Min Compensation USD $60,000.00/Yr. Max Compensation USD $80,000.00/Yr.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or at least 6 years of relevant experience.
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Strong understanding of product ownership, backlog management, and Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization abilities.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day execution.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the HVAC industry or another service-based business.
- Experience creating wireframes, workflows, and user experience documentation.
- Experience testing software releases and managing product quality feedback.
