Compensation & Benefits
Pay Rate: $57 – $77 per hour (Commensurate with experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Lucrative sign-on bonus included
Benefits: Comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, and vision)
Schedule: Approximately 7 to 7.5 hours per day (typically 7:45 AM – 3:00 PM)
Company Overview Platinum Therapy is a nationwide provider of comprehensive therapy services. Our dedicated team of qualified clinicians delivers personalized care both in-person and through our secure HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform.
Position Overview We are seeking qualified, full-time Special Education Teachers for immediate in-person school-based positions in Antioch, CA. This is a fully funded opportunity designed to support district needs while providing educators with a structured, collaborative, and rewarding classroom environment alongside exceptional clinical support.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and educate students with diverse learning needs in a classroom setting
Develop, adapt, and implement engaging, curriculum-aligned lesson plans
Maintain positive, collaborative relationships with students, parents, and school staff
Accurately document and share student progress, grades, and evaluations
Requirements
Active California Special Education Teacher (SPED) Certification
Previous experience in teaching or special education environments
Strong classroom management and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
