Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance Management- Develop and implement the Quality Management System framework (QMS), including metrics, processes, and procedures throughout the overall product lifecycle; define, select, and implement standards, methodologies and tools appropriate to the relevant activities and areas within IT Leverage ISO Software Quality Standards and work closely with stakeholders (Project Managers/Scrum Masters, Business System Analysts, Developers) in both Agile and Waterfall environments to meet both business requirements and compliance standards Coordinate, train, optimize test team and initiate test automation and practices, administering all related processes and procedures to ensure compliance to set quality goals;
Manage both the QA and UAT test effort across multiple projects with use of milestones and estimations Champion standardization, utilization, optimization, and use of best practices and formulate strategies to increase productivity within the QA team and across the Leadership and Performance Management Provide visible leadership, articulate strategies, and plans for the execution of IT projects and initiatives Train, motivate, and coach Quality Assurance Analysts team to ensure that standards and goals are met Provide resource management including career development, performance management, resource planning/scheduling and training needs Integrate and manage vendor resources and tools, for augmented resources Participate in the vendor selection process;
Provide suggestions and recommendations and share inputs with Architecture and Application departments to evaluate vendor solution fit within the client overall portfolio Assist in the communication of user requirements to ensure expectations are met and maintain consistency in reporting performance Define, gather and analyze relevant user acceptance testing (UAT) metrics to support decisions and recommendations to end-users related to Quality Assurance and to monitor compliance
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree or certification in Quality Assurance; or equivalent work experience Quality Engineer certifications (ISTQB or equivalent) 7-10 years' experience in testing and Quality Assurance; proficient with QA methodologies (i.e. UAT, software testing principles concepts, verification, validation methods, test strategy & risk planning and management) Experience in implementation and monitoring of program performance, verification, and validation methods including experience with statistical and process improvement tools Experience in the implementation and maintenance of a Quality Management System Advanced skills in test automation tools, Jira, JavaScript and demonstrated hands-on experience in Test processes (Test Planning, Test Strategy & Test Design etc.
