Senior Land Development Project Manager
We’re partnered with a top developer who's seeking an experienced Senior Land Development Project Manager to lead residential and mixed-use development projects from start to finish.
This role owns project budgets, schedules, contractor performance, quality, and overall execution, while leading Development Managers and Coordinators across an assigned portfolio.
Key Responsibilities

Manage multiple residential and mixed-use land-development projects from construction start through closeout.

Direct civil contractors, engineers, consultants, utilities, and municipalities.

Review grading, drainage, utility, earthwork, geotechnical, and civil construction plans.

Lead bidding, contractor selection, negotiations, and contract administration.

Monitor progress, quality, costs, changes, and schedule performance.

Coordinate inspections, punch lists, final acceptance, and bond release.

Partner with vertical construction teams to ensure lots are delivered on schedule and ready for home construction.

Lead and develop Development Managers and Coordinators.
Qualifications
-
6+ years of land development experience with a homebuilder, land developer, civil contractor, or engineering firm.

Direct experience managing horizontal construction projects.

Strong knowledge of civil plans, grading/drainage, utilities, earthwork, and geotechnical requirements.

Experience with competitive bidding, contract negotiation, and contractor management.

Prior team leadership experience.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate, Land Planning, or related field—or equivalent experience.

Valid driver's license and ability to travel between active job sites.
