Machine Operator – 1st Shift
Location: Provo UT 84606
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
Start Date: As soon as possible
Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable Machine Operator to assist with production. The selected candidate will operate a press machine used to seal product bags.
This is a temporary assignment with the potential to become long term. The position will support operations while a new machine is installed and the permanent operator completes training. The assignment is expected to end once the machine is operational and training is complete.
Responsibilities
- Operate the press machine safely and efficiently.
- Close and seal product bags according to company standards.
- Follow GMP and workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Complete required safety training.
- Perform other production-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to work Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Willingness to follow GMP and safety standards.
- Must provide your own steel-toe or composite-toe shoes.
- No jewelry permitted on the production floor.
- Jeans and T-shirts are permitted; clothing must not have offensive logos or designs.
- Clothing may not have hanging strings, such as those found on some sweatshirts or sweatpants.
- A clear water bottle with clear liquids may be brought onto the production floor.
- Lockers will be assigned.
Training and Interview Process
- Training will be provided on the assigned shift.
- The selected candidate must complete safety training before beginning floor duties.
- Screening: NCRL only; no drug test required.
