The Director of Development for UF Health Jacksonville and the College of Medicine Jacksonville is responsible for all aspects of development for the College of Medicine-Jacksonville and UF Health Jacksonville and will report to the Associate Vice President/Chief Advancement Officer within the College of Medicine at UF Health. This role involves collaboration with advancement colleagues to identify and implement strategies for grateful patient donor acquisition and retention, pipeline building for a major gift program and event sponsorships. This position will design and execute initiatives to cultivate relationships with donors and foster a culture of philanthropy within the department. Additionally, the Director will coordinate strategic research, data collection, planning, and cultivation to assist in identifying and soliciting new prospects (individuals and corporate) for the College of Medicine-Jacksonville and UF Health Jacksonville. Through collaboration with the prospect research team and patient facing care teams, the Director of Development identifies grateful patient prospects in support of the College of Medicine and UF Health. This position is vital in the administration of the day-to-day office functions for the Jacksonville development team, including supervision of the events and stewardship coordinator, preparation of marketing collateral, engaging volunteers, and stewardship.
Expected Salary: Salary is competitive and commensurate with education and experience.
Required Qualifications: Master's degree in appropriate area of specialization and three years of appropriate experience in Development or a related field; or a bachelor's degree in appropriate areas of specialization and five years of experience in Development or a related field. A valid Florida driver license is required.
