The Role: Clinical Director

As Clinical Director, you'll guide both the medical quality of the hospital and the culture of the team. You'll work closely with our Hospital Manager to create a supportive, communicative, and growth-focused environment.

You Will:

• Lead by example in delivering exceptional patient care
• Mentor, coach, and develop DVMs and support staff
• Elevate clinical standards and ensure high-quality medical protocols
• Promote client education and preventative medicine
• Contribute to business strategy, operational success, and long-term hospital goals
• Build trust with both clients and team members

About Our Hospital

Team: 1 HM | 2 DVMs | 2 RVTs | 3 VAs | 2 CSRs

Equipment:

Groveway Pet Hospital is a modern, well-equipped facility featuring:

• Diagnostic ultrasound (including AFAST)
• Digital x-ray
• Full in-house Idexx lab suite
• Comprehensive surgical capabilities including BOAS, enucleations, cystotomies, and advanced dentistry

What You Bring:

• Bring 4+ years of clinical experience (mentorship or leadership experience is a plus)
• Have strong surgical and diagnostic chops, with particular interest in surgery, dentistry, or ultrasound
• Lead with confidence and compassion, and value open communication and healthy team dynamics
• Approach challenges with a growth mindset and collaborative spirit
• Want to build something meaningful in a tight-knit Bay Area community without the San Francisco cost of living

• $180,000 - $210,000 base salary, + uncapped production bonus for unlimited earning potential with no negative accruals
• $12,000 annual Clinical Director leadership stipend in addition to competitive base compensation
