Sr. Business Systems Analyst (Strong SQL & Data Warehousing)
Location: Portland, OR (Remote)
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Systems Analyst / Technical Product Owner with strong SQL, Data Warehousing, and techno-functional expertise. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, data modelers, engineering teams, QA teams, and business partners to translate business requirements into technical solutions and drive the successful delivery of data-centric initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct business discovery sessions and gather business requirements from stakeholders.
- Analyze existing systems, data, and business processes to identify functional and technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain Technical Specifications, Product Design Documents (PDD), and System Technical Mapping (STM) documents.
- Collaborate with Data Modelers, Engineering, QA, and Business teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as a Technical Product Owner, ensuring requirements are clearly defined and understood by development teams.
- Coordinate with offshore BSA teams for requirement clarification and project execution.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate delivered solutions against business requirements.
- Drive issue resolution, stakeholder communication, and end-to-end delivery ownership.
- Ensure delivered solutions align with business objectives and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Data Warehousing (DWH) concepts.
- Advanced SQL skills with experience writing, analyzing, and optimizing complex queries.
- Experience creating and maintaining:
- Technical Specifications
- Product Design Documents (PDD)
- System Technical Mapping (STM)
- Proven experience as a:
- Business Systems Analyst (BSA)
- Data Analyst
- Technical Product Owner
- Developer transitioning into a BSA/Product Owner role
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the Pharmacy or Healthcare domain.
