Senior Graphic Designer

Pay: $60000 per year - $90000 per year

Summary: The Senior Graphic Designer at American Food & Vending will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity and creative output of our organization. As a senior member of the design team, this position requires a combination of creative expertise, leadership skills, and strategic thinking. The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive design experience to create compelling visuals that align with the company’s branding and goals while mentoring junior designers and collaborating across departments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of high-quality graphic design projects, including advertising campaigns, print materials, digital assets, and branding initiatives.
• Ensure all designs maintain consistency with the company’s visual identity and brand guidelines.
• Act as a thought leader in design trends, techniques, and tools, bringing fresh ideas to the team.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
• Work closely with stakeholders, including marketing, product development, and external vendors, to translate concepts into impactful designs.
• Develop timelines, budgets, and resource plans for design projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and deliver effective design solutions.
• Present design concepts and strategies to leadership and clients, providing clear rationale for design choices.
• Maintain open lines of communication with team members to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Mentor junior designers, providing guidance, constructive feedback, and support for professional growth.
• Organize workshops, training sessions, and design reviews to elevate the team’s skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual arts, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design, including leadership roles.
• Expertise in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, etc.).
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including branding, digital, and print work.
• Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, composition, and design principles.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• Experience working with UX/UI design principles.
• Knowledge of motion graphics and video editing tools.
• Familiarity with web design and development processes, including HTML/CSS.
• Prior experience in mentoring or leading creative teams.
• Highly creative and detail-oriented, with a passion for producing excellent work.
• Adaptable, with the ability to pivot designs based on feedback or shifting priorities.
