About the Position
Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Texas
Start Date: October 15, 2026
Location: Webster, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Typical ratios include 2:1 standard labor support, 1:1 for patients on Pitocin, and 3-4:1 for APU and Triage. Shift options available for day shift (approximately 30 staff) and night shift (approximately 25 staff).
Highlights:
- 15 labor beds, 3 operating room suites, 4 triage beds, and 3 preop/PACU beds
- EMR system: Meditech
- Equipment includes electronic fetal monitoring with tocodynamometer, ultrasound, pulse oximetry, BP cables, and NOVI technology
- Typical procedures include cesarean sections, cerclage placement and removal, IUPC, and fetal scalp electrode placement
- Collaborative team environment with experienced ANMs, relief charge nurses, and OR technicians
- Scrub color: Royal Blue
Requirements:
- Active RN license
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification – required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification – required
- IEFM (Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification – required
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) – preferred
- RNC-OB or C-EFM certification – preferred
