Graphics Designer — GD12109

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphics Designer to join our team on a full-time contract basis. The Graphics Designer will be responsible for developing engaging visual content, supporting marketing and communication initiatives, maintaining brand consistency, and delivering high-quality digital and print designs that align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Create digital graphics, marketing materials, presentations, social media content, and other visual assets.

Develop creative design concepts and layouts based on project requirements and brand guidelines.

Design materials for digital platforms, print publications, presentations, advertisements, and internal communications.

Apply principles of typography, color theory, composition, spacing, and visual hierarchy to design projects.

Edit and enhance photographs, illustrations, icons, and other visual elements.

Collaborate with marketing, communications, product, and internal teams to understand design requirements.

Work with senior designers and creative team members to develop effective visual solutions.

Review and revise designs based on stakeholder feedback and project requirements.

Ensure all completed designs meet quality, branding, and formatting standards.

Maintain consistency across company branding, marketing materials, and digital communications.

Prepare and organize final design files for digital and print production.

Maintain an organized library of design assets, templates, fonts, images, and source files.

Manage multiple design projects while prioritizing deadlines and changing requirements.

Assist with the development of presentations, promotional materials, web graphics, and other creative content.

Stay informed about current design trends, tools, technologies, and creative best practices.

Support the creative team with design research, brainstorming, and concept development.

Contribute to improvements in design workflows, templates, and creative processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, Fine Arts, or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in graphic design, visual communications, marketing design, or a related field.

Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, design fundamentals, and attention to detail.

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

Familiarity with Figma, Canva, or other digital design and collaboration tools is preferred.

Strong understanding of typography, color, layout, composition, and visual hierarchy.

Excellent creative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate ideas into effective visual designs.

Ability to accept feedback and make revisions efficiently.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with creative and cross-functional teams.

Basic knowledge of digital and print production requirements is preferred.

Compensation & Contract Benefits:

Annual Contract Rate: $60,000 – $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and scope of responsibility.

Schedule: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Contract Duration: Initial contract assignment with potential for extension or renewal based on business needs and performance.
