Job description
Schedule:
- Full-time technical support should be available throughout active academic sessions.
- Coverage must support students and instructors during online instructional periods, including evening classes.
Summary:
- The LMS Technical Support Specialist will maintain reliable student and instructor access to the online learning environment and resolve technology problems that could interfere with instruction.
Requirements:
- Must have experience supporting Learning Management Systems or online learning platforms.
- Must be capable of troubleshooting account, access, and course-delivery issues.
- Must understand online course and user-account administration.
- Must comply with applicable information-security and privacy requirements.
Duties:
- Maintain student and instructor access to the LMS.
- Troubleshoot technical problems affecting online instruction.
- Verify courses and instructional materials are accessible before sessions begin.
- Track and escalate unresolved technical issues when necessary.
