General Manager

Field & Vine, a neighborhood restaurant in Union Square, Somerville is looking for a General Manager. We believe in local food systems, we believe in regenerative agriculture, we believe in sourcing food mindfully with local farmers who care deeply about the land and their connection to it.

We are looking for a general manager who can lead by example, show up positive and prepared, act with empathy and kind heartedness, and can embody the values of the restaurant.

We are looking for a candidate who is self motivated, able to multi-task, and is comfortable with spread sheets, costing, and creating and following SOP’s.

Duties include but are not limited to –

• Leading and supporting the FOH through nightly service.
• Organizing the book to maximize reservations.
• Booking private events/large groups.
• Running the Wine and beverage program
• Ordering smallwares, paper products, and office supplies.
• Scheduling FOH team.
• Assisting in keeping the physical space clean and organized.
