Job description

Job Overview

  • Department: Production Engineering Department or Service Department

  • Position: MES Engineer

  • Direct Manager: Production Engineering Department Manager or Service Department Manager

Job Description

  • Perform full lifecycle product development for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

  • Conduct methodical experiments, analyze operational data, and interpret results to optimize shop floor processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain servers (MS-SQL, EDI, B2B).

  • Utilize web and application technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and C#.

  • Support ongoing production Shop Floor activities and system operations.

  • Collaborate with operations teams to train staff on new systems and provide continuous Shop Floor support.

Requirements

1. Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent preferred.

2. Work Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in MES with direct Shop Floor experience.

  • 1–2 years of experience using MS Visual Studio (IDE).

  • 1–2 years of experience writing MS-SQL Stored Procedures (T-SQL).

  • 1–2 years of experience in Perl programming.

  • Hands-on experience developing .NET and C# applications (WinForms and WebForms).

  • Practical knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.

  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL databases.

3. Key Skills & Competencies

  • Core Technical Expertise:

    • Advanced proficiency in SQL Server, T-SQL, and Stored Procedures.

    • Strong hands-on experience in .NET Application Development.

    • Proficiency in front-end web tools (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) an
