Job Summary

STAFFXPERT is seeking a Senior Technical Data Architect with strong experience in Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Data Architecture, and AI/GenAI. The consultant will work with architecture and engineering teams on cloud modernization, data platforms, governance, and AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review Azure and Microsoft Fabric solutions
• Develop reference architectures, standards, and design patterns
• Support data governance and modernization initiatives
• Provide architecture guidance for AI/GenAI solutions
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and business teams
• Support architecture reviews, technical documentation, and solution decisions

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Enterprise, Solution, or Data Architecture experience
• Strong Microsoft Azure architecture experience
• Strong Microsoft Fabric experience OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Factory
• Data Architecture & Governance Microsoft Purview, Data Lineage, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB
• AI/GenAI Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, RAG, Agentic AI
• Cloud Modernization & Integration APIs, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture
• DevOps: GitHub, Terraform, Azure DevOps
• Financial Services or Asset Management experience
• Strong experience creating architecture standards, reference architectures, and technical documentation

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting an Architecture Center of Excellence (CoE)
• Power Platform Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse
• Experience with Claude Code, MCP, or AI-assisted development
• Experience with .NET/C#, Python, or Node.js
• Data Mesh / domain-based data architecture experience
• Strong communication skills with both executive and engineering teams
