Our client, a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry, has an immediate opening for an Engineering Technician for a 12-month+ contract. Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of electrical technical tasks. Develops and recommends procedures and methods and prepares technical reports and documentation. Performs technical evaluations of events to determine root cause; recommends corrective action. Responsibilities are within the Technical Specialty/Skilled Trade Function as an electrical technician.
Responsibilities
- Providing technical support to engineers on a variety of electrical technical tasks.
- Developing and recommending procedures and methods, and preparing technical reports and documentation.
- Performing technical evaluations of events to determine root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Carrying out responsibilities within the Technical Specialty/Skilled Trade function as an electrical technician.
- Assisting in the installation, calibration, and maintenance of robotic and electrical systems.
- Participating in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during production or testing processes.
- Documenting maintenance and repair activities to ensure accurate records and compliance.
- Monitoring system performance and conducting routine inspections to ensure optimal operation.
Qualifications:
- Practical experience in troubleshooting electrical and robotic systems.
- Basic understanding of electrical work routines and technical procedures.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and make simple judgments in straightforward situations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
- Effective communication and documentation abilities.
- Experience in a manufacturing, medical device, or robotics environment.
