Character Art Manager

A leading entertainment and consumer products company is hiring a Character Art Manager to support their global creative team. This temp role offers an exciting opportunity to lead character artwork development for a variety of product lines.

Character Art Manager Responsibilities:

• Develop original character poses, expressions, outfits, and interactions to expand existing assets.
• Personally create sketches, revisions, and refine artwork to ensure on-model, on-character, and on-brand consistency.
• Convert model sheets, turnarounds, and references into assets suitable for consumer products.
• Review and provide feedback on artwork, maintaining high quality and creative standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external agencies to ensure timely delivery of character assets.

Character Art Manager Qualifications:

• Proven portfolio with strong character illustration, pose development, and storytelling skills.
• Excellent drawing skills with understanding of anatomy, gesture, movement, and expression.
• Experience directing and working with external or internal character artists.
• Knowledge of how character artwork applies across different product categories.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and digital drawing tools; strong organizational skills.
