Responsibilities
- Build New Relationships: Connect with potential clients through phone calls, referrals, networking, and community involvement.
- Grow Your Client Base: Develop relationships with new prospects and build a book of business with guidance and ongoing support from our team.
- Help Clients Find the Right Coverage: Learn about clients needs and recommend insurance solutions that help protect their homes, vehicles, families, and businesses.
- Explore Multiple Insurance Products: Work with Personal Lines (auto, home, renters), Life, and Commercial insurance to provide clients with well-rounded protection.
- Present Insurance Options: Prepare quotes and proposals, explain coverage options, and help clients make informed decisions.
- Turn Opportunities Into Clients: Follow up with prospects, answer questions, and guide clients through the process of choosing their coverage.
- Build Lasting Relationships: Stay connected with existing clients and help them find additional coverage as their needs change.
- Develop Your Professional Network: Build referral relationships with local business owners, real estate professionals, lenders, and other community partners.
- Stay Organized: Keep client information, quotes, and follow-ups up to date using our agencys systems and tools.
- Learn and Grow: Participate in training, team meetings, and professional development to strengthen your insurance knowledge and sales skills.
- Work as a Team: Collaborate with your coworkers to share ideas, support clients, and discover new business opportunities.
- Provide a Great Client Experience: Build trust by delivering friendly, knowledgeable, and personalized service.
- Continue Building Your Expertise: Stay current with insurance products, carrier guidelines, licensing requirements, and industry updates.

Requirement
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. College education is a plus, but not required.
- Licensing: An active California Property & Casualty license is preferred. If youre new to insurance, were open to candidates willing to obtain the required license. A Life & Health license is also preferred or must be obtained within an agreed timeframe.
- Communication: Enjoy talking with people, building relationships, and helping clients find solutions.
- Customer Service: A friendly, professional attitude and a genuine desire to help others.
- Computer Skills: Comfortable using a computer and willing to learn our office systems and software.
- Organization: Able to stay organized, manage follow-ups, and keep track of daily tasks.
- Teamwork: Comfortable working independently while being part of a supportive team.
- Positive Attitude: Motivated, dependable, open to feedback, and eager to learn.
- Growth Mindset: Willing to participate in training and develop new sales and insurance skills.
- Goal-Oriented: Excited to work toward goals, grow a client base, and celebrate accomplishments.
- Transportation: Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation, as needed for the position.
- Background Check: Must meet applicable California Department of Insurance background requirements.
