Job Title: Materials Handler I
Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?): Pomona, CA (Onsite)
Contract Duration: Contract until 05/08/2027
Work Hours: 7:30am-4:00pm

Description:

• This position is NonExempt. Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half. Loads, unloads, and moves materials (crates, boxes and raw materials) within or near plant, yard or work site.
• Reads and follows work orders and/or oral instructions; uses hand tools to open containers.
• Transports materials using handtruck, electric dolly, wheelbarrow or other devices.
• Top qualifications
  • Previous Material Handling Experience needed.
  • Must have good computer skills and experience with ERP or similar systems.
  • Must have some previous type of material handler, shipping receiving, Inventory/ warehouse experience
  • Usage of pallet jack, shipping procedures, etc.
• Selected Candidate will start as soon as screenings are clear
• Maintains manufacturing inventory, keeps accurate records of manufacturing inventory data, performs re-stocking, inventory acceptance sampling.
• Performs cycle count and ensures that inventory is clearly labeled. Verifies and maintains material inventory and sample request forms.
• MUST have good attendance and willing to learn.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

• Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work on multiple tasks as a team member and/or ability to operate as an individual contributor.
