Job description

Location: Oahu, HI (Near HNL Airport)
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

American Guard Services (AGS) is currently seeking dependable and professional Security Officers to join our team near the HNL Airport area. If you are attentive, reliable, and committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment, we encourage you to apply today.

Job Responsibilities

  • Control site access and log visitors entering the property.
  • Conduct regular patrols to deter and detect unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and security systems.
  • Respond to alarms and investigate security-related incidents.
  • Document incidents, disturbances, and safety concerns accurately.
  • Enforce site rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide assistance and professional customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff.

Qualifications

  • Valid Hawaii Guard Card required.
  • Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to walk, stand, and patrol for extended periods.
  • Knowledge of security procedures and emergency response protocols.
  • Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred but not required.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
