OB/GYN Physician Job Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- At least 1 year of relevant OB/GYN physician experience
- Active Arizona physician license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
- Active DEA registration
- Current COVID-19 and influenza vaccination documentation, with medical or religious exemption requests considered as applicable
- Ability to complete credentialing requirements, including recent case logs and required clinical documentation
- Comfort with Cerner documentation and hospital-based obstetric care
OB/GYN Locum Tenens Physician Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive OB/GYN coverage in a hospital setting
- Manage obstetric patients and participate in deliveries during assigned coverage
- Respond to clinical callbacks and provide timely evaluation and treatment recommendations
- Remain available for 24-hour beeper call during scheduled shifts
- Document patient care accurately in Cerner
- Collaborate with nursing staff, hospital teams, and other healthcare professionals to support safe, high-quality patient care
- Participate in required orientation and complete all clinical documentation in a timely manner
