OPTI STAFFING GROUP IS HIRINGOpening: Office Administrator Location: Anchorage, AK Pay: $20 - $30 DOE We are seeking a professional, organized, and service-oriented Office Administrator to serve as the central point of contact and operational support for a busy Anchorage office. This is a highly visible, hands-on role for someone who enjoys being the person others rely on to keep the office organized, welcoming, and running smoothly. The ideal candidate will be comfortable wearing many hats—from greeting clients and supporting employees to coordinating vendors, maintaining office supplies and facilities, assisting with onboarding, and keeping administrative and budget-related tasks on track. This position is well suited for someone who takes ownership, notices what needs to be done, and takes pride in creating a professional and efficient workplace. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for the Anchorage office, welcoming visitors, assisting employees, and providing a high level of internal and external customer service. Oversee day-to-day office operations, including supplies, mail, records, equipment, administrative support, and general office organization. Coordinate with building management, vendors, and IT to address facility, maintenance, and on-site technology needs. Support employee onboarding and offboarding, office communications, and general HR-related administrative needs. Assist with office budgeting, expense tracking, invoicing, and monthly review of office expenditures. Provide administrative support to project managers, marketing, and other team members as needed. Help coordinate office meetings, team-building activities, holiday events, and other employee engagement initiatives. Maintain a professional, organized, safe, and welcoming office environment, including shared spaces and breakroom areas. Be a dependable resource for employees throughout the workday and step in wherever administrative support is needed. Qualifications: Required: 5+ years of experience in a professional office environment, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team. Ability to multitask, prioritize competing responsibilities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Commitment to workplace safety and established safety standards and protocols. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Preferred: Professional experience in an architecture, engineering, or similar professional services environment. Experience supporting office operations, facilities, vendors, or employee onboarding.
