Job Summary:
The Pega Lead Business Architect (LBA) is responsible for leading cross-functional teams to translate business requirements, process flows, and use cases into effective Pega software solutions. This role acts as a bridge between business and technical teams, supports Agile delivery processes, and ensures alignment of solutions with user needs and enterprise objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and translate business needs into requirements, user stories, and functional designs.
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders, business teams, and technology teams.
- Lead workshops, backlog reviews, sprint planning, and solution discussions.
- Support Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities including requirements management, testing, deployment, and release documentation.
- Create use cases, wireframes, training materials, and release notes.
- Define acceptance criteria, support test execution, and mentor team members.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- PEGA Business Architect certification with relevant post-certification experience.
- Strong experience in business analysis, use case development, and Agile software delivery.
- Experience managing functional requirements throughout the SDLC.
- Proficiency in requirements documentation, functional design, testing, and training materials.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical education.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with enterprise software configuration and deployment.
- Broad experience in organizations delivering software solutions to customers.
- Technical background in IT or software development.
Special Considerations:
- Must support Agile delivery methodologies and participate actively in sprint and release activities.
Scheduling:
- Hybrid work type with 3 days remote and 2 days on-site.
