Production Operator — Job Fair Opportunity

What’s the role?
As a Production Operator, you will handle, inspect, measure, and review materials and work orders while ensuring products meet customer's quality and productivity standards. This position supports multiple areas of a regulated manufacturing environment, including tumbling, cleanroom operations, and packaging.
What you’ll do
- Perform production activities while consistently meeting quality, safety, and productivity goals.
- Handle, inspect, and measure materials and components according to established procedures.
- Follow applicable MSOPs, QCSOPs, GMP, and line-clearance requirements.
- Complete work orders accurately and maintain documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Follow FIFO—First In, First Out—procedures for materials and production.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S principles.
- Use tweezers and other small-handling tools to safely and accurately handle products.
- Perform detailed visual inspections and identify defects according to customer's quality standards.
- Use a microscope and understand different magnification levels to perform visual inspections.
- Identify and distinguish between different lens and injector models and components.
- Properly document and scrap defective materials or products.
- Communicate effectively with Technicians, Leads, and Supervisors regarding production, quality, and safety concerns.
- Perform basic manufacturing functions in tumbling, cleanroom operations, packaging, and other assigned areas.
- Follow all applicable safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Do you qualify?
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic computer skills, including web-browser navigation and use of online systems.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience in the medical device industry strongly preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, supervisors, coworkers, inspectors, and auditors.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a regulated manufacturing environment.
