About the Team:
The Cloud Validation team ensures the backend services, web portals, and APIs that power our automotive Web platform are reliable, secure, and ready for production. We validate the systems that orchestrate software updates to entire fleets of connected vehicles.

About the Role:
We are looking for a Web Cloud Validation Engineer to validate the cloud services that power our automotive Web platform. This role focuses on backend services, web applications, APIs, deployment workflows, and fleet management systems that support software updates to connected vehicles. While basic understanding of vehicle architecture is expected, the primary focus is validating cloud functionality, web portals, APIs, and automation. We are hiring at all levels - from engineers early in their testing career to senior engineers who can own cloud validation strategy - so please apply even if you don't match every requirement.

What You'll Do:

• Validate Web cloud services including software package management, deployment workflows, campaign management, device registration, and update orchestration.
• Verify backend service functionality through REST APIs
• Validate fleet management features including scheduling, staged rollouts, deployment monitoring, and software version management
• Test authentication, authorization, and user management
• Validate cloud-to-vehicle communication workflows
• Perform functional testing of web portals and dashboards
• Develop automated UI tests using Playwright
• Validate browser compatibility and user workflows
• Verify user permissions and access control
• Perform regression testing for web applications
• Validate REST APIs
• Perform API automation testing
• Verify request validation and error handling
• Test API performance and reliability
• Develop Playwright automation
• Build API automation frameworks
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Maintain automated regression suites
• Improve testing efficiency through automation
• Analyze cloud service failures
• Investigate API failures
• Debug frontend/backend integration issues
• Collaborate with backend developers and DevOps engineers

Qualifications:

Junior

• 1+ years of software testing experience
• Experience with web application testing
• Basic Playwright or Selenium experience
• Basic API testing knowledge
• Basic JavaScript or TypeScript
• Basic Python

Mid / Senior

• 4+ years of backend or web application validation
• Strong Playwright experience
• Strong API automation experience
• Experience validating distributed cloud services
• Experience with CI/CD
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
