Mechanical FEA Modeler (Abaqus)

• Position: Mechanical FEA Modeler (Abaqus)

• Location: Cupertino, CA Onsite

• Duration: Long Term

• Experience: 3+ years in Abaqus CAE

• Education: BS/MS in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or related field

Key Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Abaqus CAE / FEA modeling

• Expert knowledge of model preparation, meshing, material models, boundary conditions, and load applications

• Experience with NX CAD for geometry preparation

• ANSA / HyperMesh experience is a plus

• Python/scripting experience for Abaqus automation is preferred

• Experience with composite materials, advanced materials, or battery technology is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed FEA models using Abaqus CAE

• Perform pre-processing and post-processing of simulations

• Create high-quality meshes and material models

• Troubleshoot modeling and convergence issues

• Support mechanical, structural, and thermal simulations
