Requirements:
- 4+ years of professional full-stack development experience, including maintaining production web applications.
- Strong professional experience with PHP 8+ and Laravel, including Eloquent, migrations, queues, jobs, events, service architecture, and authentication systems such as Laravel Sanctum.
- Strong JavaScript skills and professional experience with Vue.js, preferably Vue 3 and the Composition API; experience with component-based development, HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS or similar, and Vite.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs, including authentication and authorization, and building or consuming APIs.
- Strong MySQL skills, including relational database and schema design, query optimization, performance tuning, and working with large datasets.
- Experience importing, transforming, mapping, and normalizing data, including CSV, XML, JSON, and Excel formats.
- Experience building backend services with Node.js, using Express or a similar framework, and handling asynchronous or background workloads.
- Familiarity with Git-based development, automated testing, debugging production applications, writing maintainable code, and understanding and documenting existing systems.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging ability, independence, clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and ownership of technical projects.
- Comfort using AI-assisted or agentic development tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Ability to commute to Orlando, Florida 32839; the role is in person.
- Preferred, but not required: experience with Inertia.js, PrimeVue or similar component libraries, Redis, search platforms, AWS, Docker, Linux, web servers, testing tools, CI/CD, AI APIs or frameworks, Salesforce, third-party integrations, ETL, or Bash.
- Experience with SaaS products, data platforms, API-driven or integration-heavy systems is especially relevant. Experience in timeshare, hospitality, travel, real estate technology, high-volume data ingestion, partner APIs, marketplaces, AI-assisted internal tools, or multi-tenant applications is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain production applications using Laravel, Vue 3, Inertia.js, and MySQL.
- Design and develop REST APIs for internal applications and external partners.
- Create background jobs, queues, workers, and data-processing pipelines.
- Import and process large datasets, and normalize and map data from multiple external systems.
- Develop Node.js services for data processing, integrations, and supporting workloads.
- Design database schemas and optimize queries for applications handling substantial datasets.
- Build responsive, component-based Vue 3 interfaces and integrate third-party APIs and partner systems.
- Improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Write automated tests, take part in code reviews, and debug production issues across applications, APIs, databases, and infrastructure.
- Contribute to architectural and technical decisions as our platforms grow.
- Own features and projects from technical design through deployment and ongoing improvement.
