Client is seeking an interim Meetings Manager to temporarily lead the day-to-day operations of our high-growth Meetings at Events program, as part of the Sales Go-to-Market team. Working under the direction of the Program Lead, you will own execution across both first- and third-party events.
This is a hands-on, high-ownership bridge role for a seasoned meetings/events operator who can step into an established global program quickly, keep it running without disruption, and hand off cleanly to the incoming full-time hire.
Responsibilities
Meeting Operations & Event Execution
- Manage meeting-tool setup/go-live, QA and scheduling
- Own meeting-request intake, triage, approvals, scheduling, and real-time changes for Account Team-Led meetings.
- Oversee venue logistics and space planning (room setup, signage, access, attendee tracking, food & beverage, etc.).
- Provide on-site support at events globally, and step in to cover additional events alongside the Program Lead and other contractors based on concurrent event volumes.
Reporting, Analytics & Outcomes
- Produce post-event recaps and analytics that track performance against event and FY OKRs, partnering with Marketing Analytics on pipeline attribution and ROI reporting.
Enablement & Communications
- Own the creation, maintenance, and distribution of enablement materials (Know Before You Go guides, cheat sheets, best practices, calendar) for Sales, Marketing, and Sales GTM teams.
- Own program communications, drafting field updates and bi-weekly progress reports for the Program Lead's review.
- Coordinate training sessions and office hours, serve as the escalation point for meeting-request and approval questions, and manage event Slack channel support/Q&A.
Program Management & Documentation
- Maintain and author the substance of the Meetings-at-Events Playbook, process documentation, and operating standards across first- and third-party events.
- Act as the dedicated project manager for the Data + AI Summit (DAIS) planning meeting workstream, owning meeting notes, updates, and follow-ups, as support to the Program Lead.
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Event Tech to coordinate logistics, surface risks and dependencies to the Program Lead, and translate lessons learned into improved workflows.
- Ensure a clean, well-documented handoff to the incoming full-time Meetings Manager at the end of the engagement.
