Duties
You will provide complete functional support across various ILS disciplines including configuration, technical data, and planned maintenance.
You will serve as the subject matter expert on interagency teams to perform analyses and evaluations of design, configuration, and engineering changes for major components of new/extensively modified equipment systems.
You will make decisions on matters concerning the interpretation of considerable scheduling of work or methods and techniques to be used to identify logistics support requirements for systems or equipment installed on board ships.
You will develop and distribute technical data such as ship selected record drawings, ship information books and technical manuals to ensure critical logistics support is provided for all systems.
You will identify ILS program planning and execution problems and provides recommendations and options to resolve conflicting program requirements and develop and implement corrective action plans.
You will research, analyze and cross-check data resident within these various information systems to ensure data is correct and the customer's products are allowed, developed, correctly coded, routed, and provided.
You will compile metrics and analyzes trends of alteration/ship change installation efforts and makes recommendations to higher authority on process improvement.
