Develop and integrate configurable dashboards, self-service reporting capabilities, and predictive analytics within the CMM application
Design intuitive, interactive dashboards and visualizations communicating business insights
Coordinate and implement data replication or feeds for downstream stakeholders and external systems
Monitor system performance to ensure at least 95% of analytical queries meet monthly SLA response times and dashboards load within five seconds or less
Drive user adoption of dashboards and reporting tools
Collaborate with product owners, data engineers, and UX designers to integrate analytics into the CMM user experience
Translate business requirements and KPIs into technical designs and actionable insights
Build and enhance dashboards and reports in approved BI tools
Implement and validate SQL logic, calculations, and metric definitions
Coordinate with Data Engineering to resolve upstream data issues and curate reporting data
Apply visualization standards and documentation
Ensure reporting artifacts comply with privacy, access-control, and data-handling requirements
Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, standards, and best practices
Improve BI platforms through performance tuning, automation, metadata management, predictive analytics, and self-service BI
Support architecture design documents, governance artifacts, data lineage, and metadata catalog processes
Support and consume AI/ML solutions in compliance with government standards
Maintain a master AI/ML Capability Register tracking proposed, in-review, approved, and rejected capabilities, status, submission dates, and authorization history
Implement responsible AI/ML practices for transparency, risk mitigation, fairness, and compliance
Support the CMM Program's modern cloud-based solution for the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts and 204+ federal courts
Requirements:
MA/MS degree with 5+ years of general experience in information systems and 5+ years of specialized experience, or BS/BA degree with 7+ years of general experience in information systems and 5+ years of specialized experience
Experience may be considered in lieu of degree
7+ years of related experience
Expertise in Python, SQL, and data transformations supporting large-scale analytical data systems
Strong hands-on experience with BI tools such as Qlik, AWS QuickSight, Power BI, or Tableau
Advanced SQL skills and experience with analytical data models and semantic layers
Experience delivering reporting in regulated or high-sensitivity data environments
Experience assisting with testing, writing acceptance criteria, and confirming test case results
Experience producing current requirements, sizing user stories, and removing roadblocks before sprint starts
Excellent oral and written presentation and communication skills
Ability to work with high-level customer stakeholders and build customer relationships
Experience identifying and applying industry tools, solutions, methods, best practices, and emerging technologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
Must be able to pass a background check to obtain a Public Trust position
Must be a US Person: Green Card Holder, US Permanent Resident Alien, Refugee, Asylee, or US Citizen
Preferred certifications include Data Visualization and Data Story Telling, Qlik Sense Business Analyst, Qlik Sense Data Architect, Qlik Cloud Analytics Certified Business Analyst, Story Telling with Data, CDMP, Snowflake SnowPro Core, Databricks Certified Data Professional, AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, and AWS Certified Data Engineer
