Job description

Materials Control & Warehouse Coordination Specialist

Precision is our promise. As a Materials Control & Warehouse Coordination Specialist, you’ll be a linchpin for operational excellence—ensuring the right parts are received, recorded, and ready for production at the exact moment they’re needed.

Your impact

Every accurate entry you make in the ERP prevents a line stoppage. Every well-staged work order accelerates a build. Every discrepancy you resolve protects customer timelines. Your work enables Purchasing, Engineering, Production, and Customer Service to deliver on commitments without compromise.

How you’ll contribute

  • Receive and process inbound inventory shipments from vendors.
  • Validate quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Record inventory receipts in the ERP and distribute receiving documentation.
  • Pull inventory for machine builds using engineering-approved work tickets.
  • Issue materials to work orders and maintain precise transaction records.
  • Generate shortage reports and communicate gaps to Purchasing.
  • Stage materials and work orders for production teams.
  • Track stock positions and help uphold minimum on-hand quantities.
  • Conduct cycle counts; support annual physical inventory.
  • Identify, investigate, and correct inventory discrepancies.
  • Keep storage areas and locations neat, organized, and labeled.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
  • Adhere to safety practices; champion ERP and process improvements.

Qualifications to succeed

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree or inventory management certification preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse, or manufacturing preferred.
  • Comfortable with ERP systems; strong Excel proficiency.
  • Ability to interpret BOMs, work orders, and inventory reports.
  • Detail-driven with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods when required.

Preferred background

  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial equipment environments.
  • Familiarity with inventory control best practices.
  • Cycle counting and physical inventory experience.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.

What we offer

  • Competitive compensation
  • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • 401(k) with Company Match
  • Paid Time Off and Holidays
  • Life Insurance
  • Professional Development Opportunities
