Manpower And Organization Branch
Plans, organizes, and implements the activities of the Manpower and Organization Branch, ensuring that the office complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets needs of a global Wing.
Represents the Manpower and Organization wing staff agency to the Air Force, Air Force Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Agency (AFISRA), National Security Agency (NSA), Air Force Cryptologic Office (AFCO), MAJCOMs, as well as a variety of wing and functional area organizations located at geographically separated installations.
Manages changes to organization and resource programs. Advises management on resource ceiling issues (to include grades). Manages preparation of chief master sergeant and colonel position descriptions.
Advises senior leadership and management on effective and economical management of manpower resources by determining organization and manpower requirements for accomplishment of mission and functions impacting major programs; obtain and provide manpower requirements through process improvement and management advisory studies; determine efficiencies in organizations; develop organizational structures; analyze manpower impact of support agreements, and design methods, procedures, techniques and metrics for improving productivity and the efficient use of manpower resources.
