American Traveler is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an inpatient rehabilitation facility, requiring IRF or SNF experience and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting with 60 beds

Occupational Therapy department serving geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients (ages 13 and up)

Patient ratio of 7 to 1

Treats conditions including stroke, brain or spinal cord injury, amputation, and complex orthopedic injury

Common diagnoses include neuro, ortho, debility, and cardiac cases

Utilizes specialized equipment such as EKSO, InMotion UE Robotic, and body weight support systems

EHR systems include UDS and Epic

Day shift schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Includes weekend coverage every weekend

No call or float requirements

License required if applicable

AHA certifications required

Minimum of 2 years of experience required

IRF or SNF experience required

Strong teamwork, communication, and work ethic required

Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Provide occupational therapy services within an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team

Facility is accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC) and CARF for inpatient rehabilitation

Nationally ranked among top rehab hospitals

Black scrubs required

Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible

Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
