Job description

Job Title: EEG Technologist
Location: Portland, OR
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 16 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | 5x8 Hours | Monday–Friday | 40 Hours/Week
Local Candidates Required: Yes
Traveler Candidates Required: Yes

Pay Rate
Local: $35 – $40/hr
Traveler: $40 – $44/hr

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced EEG Technologist to perform EEG procedures and diagnostic testing while providing accurate documentation and patient care.

Required Qualifications

  • EEG Technician experience.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience required for travelers.

  • ABRET certification.

  • Ability to work with a 1:1 patient ratio.

  • Willingness to participate in rotating weekday and weekend on-call coverage.

  • Ability to float between units and facilities as required.

  • Epic experience preferred/required for documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform EEG procedures and related diagnostic testing.

  • Provide EEG services with a 1:1 patient ratio.

  • Float between units and, for travelers, between Providence Portland and Providence St. Vincent’s.

  • Participate in rotating weekday and weekend on-call coverage.

  • Cover occasional weekend day shifts when staff are unavailable.

  • Document patient information and test results in Epic.

  • Follow hospital safety, patient-care, and compliance standards.

  • Collaborate with clinical and multidisciplinary teams.
