Job Description
TenSeven Security is seeking experienced, professional, and dependable Armed Security Supervisors to provide field leadership and oversight of our security operations throughout the Tulsa area.
Security Supervisors are responsible for supporting and overseeing Security Officers in the field, conducting site inspections, ensuring compliance with post orders and company policies, responding to incidents, assisting with staffing and operational issues, and maintaining a high standard of professionalism across assigned client locations.
This is a hands-on leadership position that requires strong judgment, accountability, communication skills, and the ability to make decisions in fast-moving situations.
Job Requirements
Valid Oklahoma CLEET Armed Security Guard License (Phase I, II & IV)
Previous security experience
Prior supervisory, management, or team-lead experience preferred
Ability to legally possess and carry a firearm while performing security duties
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Strong situational awareness and ability to identify security and safety concerns
Ability to professionally manage Security Officers and address performance or operational issues
Ability to respond to and take control of security incidents and emergencies
Strong conflict management and de-escalation skills
Ability to conduct site inspections and ensure officers are following post orders and client requirements
Ability to accurately document incidents, inspections, and other operational activity
Ability to communicate professionally with clients, officers, dispatch, and management
Ability to follow and enforce company policies, use-of-force policies, security procedures, and client requirements
Ability to stand, walk, patrol, and remain active for extended periods
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require
Key Responsibilities
Provide field supervision and support to assigned Security Officers
Conduct routine and unannounced site inspections
Verify officer attendance, appearance, equipment, and performance
Ensure compliance with post orders and company policies
Respond to incidents, emergencies, and calls for supervisory assistance
Assist officers with difficult or high-risk situations
Address staffing and operational issues as they arise
Review reports and ensure documentation is accurate and complete
Communicate client concerns and site issues to Operations
Assist with training and onboarding new Security Officers
Maintain professional relationships with clients and site representatives
Serve as a dependable point of contact between field personnel and TenSeven management
Nice to Have
Previous security supervisory or management experience
Prior law enforcement, corrections, or military leadership experience
CPR and First Aid certification
Experience with CCTV, access control, alarm, or surveillance systems
Experience supervising multiple client sites or mobile security operations
Experience training or evaluating Security Officers
