Senior QA Automation Engineer

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Quality Engineering team is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to drive functional and automated testing across multi-tiered web applications and iOS mobile environments. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-shore development teams to design robust test strategies, build automated test suites using Node.js/JavaScript, and ensure zero-regression software delivery for key business systems.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review business requirements and user stories to create clear, detailed test plans and test cases.
• Execute functional testing for new features, user interfaces, and complex core workflows.
• Build, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Node.js and JavaScript automation frameworks.
• Integrate automated test suites into continuous integration (CI) pipelines for release validation.
• Log, track, and manage bugs in tracking tools like JIRA and qTest, conducting defect triage with cross-shore developers.
• Perform comprehensive regression testing to ensure new code updates do not break existing functionality.
• Conduct device testing on iOS hardware (with or without media equipment) using iOS build versions of web applications.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Functional Test Design & Execution (5 6 years) Deep experience creating test cases and validating complex workflows.
• Test Automation with Node.js & JavaScript (5 6 years) Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated script suites.
• Test & Defect Management (5 6 years) Expert-level bug tracking, lifecycle management, and triage using JIRA.
• iOS Device Testing Practical experience performing application testing directly on iOS devices/builds.

CANDIDATE PROFILE The ideal candidate is a hands-on Senior QA Engineer with 5 to 6 years of experience combining functional domain testing with Node.js test automation expertise. They must thrive in a hybrid Orlando setup, possess strong communication skills for cross-shore coordination, and have direct experience testing web applications on physical iOS devices.
