About the Opportunity
We are currently hiring for a DevOps Engineer position with one of our clients in Dallas, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for technology professionals interested in cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, containerization, monitoring, and software deployment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, problem-solving skills, and an interest in automating development and infrastructure processes. Candidates with experience through internships, academic projects, certifications, or hands-on technical projects are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud and DevOps infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, testing, and deployment processes.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and operational tasks.
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Manage and support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance, availability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, networking, and application-related issues.
- Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, security teams, and IT operations.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
- Maintain scripts and automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.
- Support logging, monitoring, alerting, and incident management processes.
- Assist with implementing security, access control, backup, and infrastructure best practices.
- Maintain technical documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of software development and IT infrastructure concepts.
- Understanding of Linux/Unix or Windows server environments.
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts.
- Understanding of CI/CD and software deployment processes.
- Familiarity with scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a technical team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Knowledge of Git and source control systems.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of networking concepts, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancing, and security.
- Exposure to microservices and cloud-native architectures.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Cloud or DevOps certifications are a plus.
New Graduate Consideration

Candidates do not necessarily need prior professional experience specifically titled "DevOps Engineer." Experience in Cloud Engineering, System Administration, Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or IT Operations may also be relevant.
Candidates with hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines, deploying applications to cloud platforms, working with Docker/Kubernetes, or automating infrastructure will be strongly considered.
