Plumbing Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Engineer to join our team in Akron. As a Plumbing Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of plumbing codes and regulations, as well as hands-on experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Designing plumbing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
- Collaborating with architects and other professionals to ensure plumbing systems meet project requirements
- Selecting appropriate materials and equipment for plumbing installations
- Conducting inspections and tests on plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with regulations
- Providing technical support and guidance to project teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
